This past 7 years truly has been a path of self discovery. Seven years ago I choose to begin the process of finding the person within myself that I liked. The part of me that I would like to be friends with and get to know. Seven years ago I finally quit drugs and stopped living a very messy life of living in constant fear and self loathing. I ended the devastating cycle of chronic addiction to heroin & cocaine. I have not used drugs since!!! Ya me. This was a milestone!
Little did I know at the time that the journey to 'heal thy self' would be far more challenging and at times even more painful than any drug induced situation I was involved in could invoke
