The waiting game

I'm not quite sure why....but I know I'm waiting.
I've been waiting all my life in fact. I just didn't know it.
Waiting.
Even before I was born
I was waiting,
While I was a tiny fetus in the warm womb of my mother
Waiting.
Infant. Waiting...
and so it goes.
One continuous lifelong motion in wait.
The one major problem with living life in wait but not knowing it is filling all those agonizingly incessant quadrillion seconds while you wait.
well, I think we all know what happens to people when were bored and impatient.
Right?
Ya. We start to think of creative ways to fill the void.
we have an unlimited access with the 'all that is energy' when we were given free will. Kind of like a platinum credit card.
just write it off as free will!!! I'll deal with the consequences muuuch late tarrr!
And so it goes on. The waiting game.
I don't know what I'm waiting for but I sure do want to do it right.
Trying to figure out the rules of the game though
Mmmmmm. Tough call.
Especially from the perception of a child. You really don't know who's out maneuvering whom when your young...
so, the void has been tentively laid out with a plan by the time you hit your teens.
from a child's perspective...
the waiting becomes more conscious now though, as were pressured by our surroundings to conform to society's expectations of accomplishments.
the meaning of life also come into play.
A little bit of confusion there.
Now were searching and waiting.
Mmmmmm. Time to make a detour
Escaping from the wait in itself almost became my life's ambition.
So many ways to detour and zillions and zillions of seconds to help me fill that void of wait.
The game almost became suspended as I coasted into oblivion with my zillions of seconds.
I like to describe it as my years in an altered state of consciousness.
I had reached my 40's when I finally broke free from my mmmmm....
extended siesta. Just to find out the game of wait had marched right along beside me.
Waiting.
Patiently waiting. Waiting for me. Waiting all my life. maybe even many life times. Could even have been since the beginning of the formation of thought itself.
Wow! that must make me a very important person.
and I am. I am because I'm a part of you and you and you. My strength is in knowing that I'm a part of every thing our consciousness has to offer.
Now that is awe-inspiring. Magnificently powerful. With endless possibilities.
I won.

Penetrate the silence

Our minds are full of chatter, all day long and even during the night when we dream. We are constantly bombarded by thoughts of every conceivable kind. This is not the natural way we are to be. The ancient ones tell us that to know God is to hear the whisperings of knowing that flow from the cosmic mind. These are not thoughts. They do not come from the head. They flow from the Beingness that you are.
So, how do we quiet the mind that is undisciplined? There are a few ways that work well, but it takes practice and dedication to master them. The first one is left-nostril breathing. This is a practice you do for 31 minutes or longer, every day for 90 days. No, this is not something you do for a few minutes here and there. It is done, sitting for at least 31 minutes.
Find a comfortable place to sit and settle in. When you are done fidgeting, shut your eyes and close the right nostril with the thumb of your right hand. Breathe in and out as deeply as you can, just watching your breathe go in and out. If any thoughts come into your head, just watch them float on by, letting them go as you breathe. You can set a timer, if you like so you can continue undistracted until the bell goes off.
Left nostril breathing calms the mind and allows it to empty. During the day, if thoughts come back into your head you can use this second technique. This involves an eye movement which clears the mind, and a command. The eye movement is quite fast, look to the far left, look to the far right, then left again. Keep your head still like you are looking straight ahead. So that is left, right left. As you are doing the eye movement, say silently in your head -Inner be silent. Continue to do this exercise as often as necessary. Like anything, you need to do this exercise for at least 21 days in a row to set the pattern so you can continue to penetrate into the silence.
When the mind is quiet, there is room for the insights from the higher You to come into your awareness. This is your innate guidance system that has your best interests at heart. It is the wisdom of the ages and your greatest ally. Now you will be able to hear it and pay attention.

No Body, No Where

Nobody, nowhere

Nobody nowhere
My comfort zone on the street
No one can touch me
because I'm not their
My zone is closed to all who care
Especially if you want to make me
a somebody, somewhere

What is Rose Hip Oil?

Rosehip Oil

Are you looking for something that can help the appearance of your skin and even reverse damage such as wrinkling and pigmentation?  Rosehip oil is the perfect natural solution.  Read on to learn more.

What is Rosehip Oil?

Rosehip oil comes from the “hip” of the rose, which is the seed pod or fruit of the rose that occurs after the rose petals fall off.  This oil is extremely beneficial for the skin.  Rosehip oil contains many nutrients including:
• vitamin A – also known as topical trans retinoic acid, this can help with oily skin, skin that is dehydrated from sun exposure, fine lines, wrinkles, and an uneven skin tone.
• Linoleic acid – helps to preserve the cell’s natural barrier to the environment and is vital for the structure of cell membranes.  This is an omega 6 fatty acid.
• Oleic acid – an omega 9 fatty acid, this helps to create supple and moist skin and improve overall skin condition.
• Linolenic acid – this is an omega 3 fatty acid and it may help to improve skin conditions by softening and moisturising the skin.  It is also important for the structure of cell membranes.
• Lycopene – this is an antioxidant and it protects the skin from free radical damage, reducing the risk of premature ageing.
• Beta-carotene – a source of pro vitamin A and an antioxidant to help improve the appearance of sun damaged skin.  It can also help to prevent the signs of ageing.
• Vitamin C – this is an antioxidant that protects against free radical damage.  It also plays a role in the formation of collagen.
Rosehip oil is a very rich source of essential fatty acids – in fact; it is 80 percent fatty acids.  These are vital for regenerating skin cells, and repairing skin tissue.

Benefits of Rosehip Oil

Rosehip oil has been shown to improve the following:
• scarring
• stretch marks
• scarring from psoriasis
• scarring from eczema
• hyper-pigmentation
• dermatitis
• fine lines and wrinkles
• burns
• acne scarring
• chickenpox scarring
• skin damage caused by sun exposure
• skin elasticity and resilience
• dry skin
• skin tone
• premature ageing
Rosehip oil is a fantastic moisturiser as it will moisturise the dry areas of your skin while not adding too much moisture to oilier areas.

Who Can Use Rosehip Oil and how is it Used?

Rosehip oil can be used by anyone of any age.  Because it has balancing properties, it can be used by both dry and oily skins, and it allows the skin to breathe.  All skin types can benefit from rosehip oil.
Ideally, rosehip oil should be used daily before damage is done to the skin.  Used as a preventative measure, rosehip oil can help reduce premature ageing.  If you already suffer from things such as pigmentation, wrinkling, etc, rosehip oil applied daily can help to reverse the damage and make the skin appear healthier.

Keeping Up With Kundalini Yoga

The term kundalini is an ancient Sanskrit term to describe the innate energy that uncoils from the base of the spine and expands throughout the body. It is an energy that we all have, but it is asleep in most of us as we have not been trained to develop it and unleash it. It exists nonetheless and it only takes dedicated training with a qualified teacher to awaken it within.

The awakened kundalini is a catalyst to see the greater grace that we feel deeply within us in odd moment when we are quiet and peaceful. If you ever feel that deep yearning to embody grace fully, then Kundalini Yoga could be the doorway you seek. The system of Kundalini Yoga diverts us from the stressers of life and brings us back to the divine where we let the goo of everyday life melt away.

The dynamics of Kundalini Yoga combine a plethora of tools and techniques that number in the thousands that work with the body, its energy and the consciousness it contains to become the divine grace that it signifies.

A combination of breathing, stretching, movement, meditation, sound and mudras make up Kundalini Yoga technology. Each session employs a warm-up session engaging spinal flexibility, specific sequences of asanas, breathing and mudras for the time of day or the day of the week, followed by a relaxation and meditative portion. The practitioner can combine and recombine parts of the practice to develop themselves.

The coiled serpent energy that is known as Kundalini stimulates self-healing, self-knowledge, higher states of consciousness and even the creative genius within. It is the doorway to the innate radiance of the Self and the celebration of Spirit. All forms of yoga lead one to the same place, each form is just a different path.

Each of us has the strength within us to realize our true path and yoga gives us the opportunity to discover it beyond the muscle strength into the flow of Spirit and the faith that it imparts to us. As the barriers to Spirit are broken down, we realize we are much more than this body. It is just the vehicle for Spirit to live within in and through it. With the renewed strength of self-realization comes better health, stronger boundaries, improved nervous system strength and a life that flows in union with the Spirit within.

Kundalini Yoga, like other forms of yoga pushes you when the going gets tough. It forces you to make a decision to do more than you ever have and become more than you have ever been. The need for that decision comes into our conscious awareness and tries to shove us into all the reasons we cannot. Once we realize we can, we can do anything. It boils down to two little words than mean a great deal…Keep Up! Once we make it a conscious habit to keep up and not give up, there is no end to the ways you can excel in your life. Kundalini Yoga constantly reminds you to keep up with consistency and faith because you can see the resources clearly within you.

Power Poem

Power Poem

Your words hit me like a thunderbolt

They pearse my heart and I bleed

You turn my power against me

I become the words that you spew

I feel rancid and unworthy

How dare you justify your anger at my expense

I'll take my power back!

I can!

I'll become the person I know I can be

I'll be the person you fear me to be

Your words will still pearce my heart and

my heart will still bleed

I will bleed empathy for your pain, sorrow for your fear,

love for the beauty I see within you

I will pray with love in my heart for you

because I can
